Obituary William Bryant Mitchell age 77, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday January 26, 2016At the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY He was born December 12, 1938 in Scottsville, KY to the late William Era Mitchell and Lottie Goad Mitchell. He was a retired maintenance worker, where he worked at the Allen Co. Road Department.He is survived by one son Ricky Mitchell, of Scottsville, KY. Two daughters, Lisa Hogue, of Scottsville, KY. And, Penny Carter and husband Mike of Scottsville, KY.Nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Sue Harmon, and one brother, Jewell Mitchell.Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 29, 2016 at 1:30 P.M. at the Strode Funeral Home Scottsville Chapel with Burial in the Buck Allen Crossroad Cemetery.Visitation will be after 2:00 PM Thursday, January 28, 2016, and after 7:30 AM Friday, January 29, 2016 until time of service at The Strode Funeral Home Scottsville Chapel.Memorials are suggested to the Buck Allen Crossroad Cemetery.
