William Claude Harlin

Obituary William Claude Harlin, 82, of Gamaliel, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville.He was born April 19, 1933 in Monroe County, KY to the late Kansas Harlin and Blanche Compton Harlin. He was a Real Estate Appraiser, farmer and a member of Tompkinsville First United Methodist Church. He was united in marriage on May 30, 1953 to the former Sue Holland. He is survived by his wife Sue Holland Harlin of Gamaliel, one son: John William Harlin and wife Pam of Gamaliel, three daughters: Gayle Mills of Owensboro, Karen Trumbo and husband Trey of Springdale, Arkansas, Holly Vaughn of Bowling Green, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Robbie Lynn Harlin and a granddaughter: Molly Harlin. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 10 at 2:00 PM at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel with burial to follow in the Gamaliel Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 PM on Wednesday, and after 7:30 AM on Thursday at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Gamaliel Cemetery or Molly Harlin Memorial Scholarship Fund.
