Obituary William Coy Eakles, 81, of Lafayette, TN, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN.He was born August 27, 1933 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Buddy Eakles and Mable Connor Eakles. He was a retired maintenance supervisor and a member of Corinth Church of Christ. He was united in marriage on July 17, 1959 to the former Grace McFadden.He is survived by his wife: Grace McFadden Eakles of Lafayette, TN, two sons: Ronnie Eakles and wife Vickey and Danny Eakles and wife Debbie all of Bowling Green, KY, two daughters: Christina Evans and husband Roy of Lafayette, TN, Kimberly Eakles of Bowling Green, four brothers: Charles Eakles of Edmonson County, KY, David Eakles of Bowling Green, Moty Cherry and Carl Eakles both of Franklin, KY, three sisters: Elaine Goad of Bowling Green, Patsy Ashley of Franklin, KY and Sue Spears of North Carolina, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother: Damon Spears, one sister: Virginia Russell and one grandson: Danny Hood, Jr.Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 14 at 12:00 PM at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel with cremation to follow. Dale Strong officiated.Visitation will be after 10:00 AM on Friday until time of service at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel.
