Obituary William Cecil Crowe, 79, of Fountain Run, KY passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was born March 20, 1936, in Monroe County, KY to the late Raymond Crowe and Clarene Thomerson Crowe. He was a farmer and a member of Gamaliel Baptist Church. He was united in marriage on July 10, 1954 to the former Rosie Nell Proffitt.He is survived by his wife: Rosie Nell Proffitt Crowe of Fountain Run, one son: Dewayne Crowe and wife Teresa of Glasgow, two daughters: Glenda Wilson and husband George of Gamaliel, Lavonda Sneed and husband Wayne of Glasgow, four brothers: Norman Crowe of Louisville, Clarence Crowe and Lawrence Crowe both of Gamaliel, Tommy Crowe of Tompkinsville, three sisters: Marie Hatter, Juanita Weakley and Lucille Liddell all of Louisville, three grandchildren: Casey Vibbert and husband Jeremy, Heather Shelton and husband Dewayne, Barton Wilson and wife Mailey, one step grandchild: Christal Morehead and husband Jamie, four great grandchildren: Kaeleb and Kaeden Vibbert, Emmory and Stella Jean Shelton, two step great grandchildren: Jacob Morehead, Stephen Morehead and wife Madison, one step great-great grandchild: Evelyn Morehead and a special dog named Little Buddy.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother: Herman Crowe and one sister: Bernice Crowe.Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 11 at 1:30 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery.Visitation will be after 11:00 AM on Tuesday and after 7:30 AM on Wednesday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.
