Wilbur Ross Comer, 67, of Gamaliel, passed away Tuesday, May, 26, 2015 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville.He was born August 10, 1947 in Emberton, KY to the late Walter Lester Comer and Beulah Allonia Isenberg Comer. He was a farmer and a logger and a member of Freewill Church of Christ. He was united in marriage on June 8, 1966 in Celina, TN to the former Betty Joan Morrios.He is survived by his wife: Betty Joan Morris Comer of Gamaliel, one daughter: Jennifer Joan Comer, one son: David Ross Comer and wife Jennifer Michelle of Moss, TN, three brothers: Wallace Comer of Tompkinsville, Darrell Comer of Parrish, FL, Roy Comer of Red Boiling Spgs., TN, one sister: Loretta Hunt of Glasgow, three grandchildren: Autumn Thompson and husband Dustin, Maston Comer and Shelby-Jo Strode, two great grandchildren: Jaxson Stone Thompson and Ryman Foster Thompson.Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 29 at 2:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Isenberg Cemetery.Visitation will be after 2:00 PM on Thursday and after 7:30 AM on Friday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.Memorials are suggested to Isenberg Cemetery, Freewill Church of Christ or American Cancer Society.
