Obituary Virginia Law Garmon, age 84, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015, at Vanderbilt Medical Center, in Nashville, TN. She was born on May 7, 1931 in Macon Co. TN, to the late Herbert Law and Odean Napier Law. She Married Ralph Garmon April 14, 1951 who precedes her in death. She retired from the Allen County Board of Education working over 20 years as a School Secretary in which she worked in many of the schools county wide. She is survived by;One Son Kerry Garmon & wife Debra of Bowling Green, KYOne Daughter Lynn Porter of Scottsville, KYOne Brother - Brownie Law of Louisville, KYTwo Sisters- Betty Wade & Shirley Fleming of Scottsville.Four Grandchildren, Laura Carter, Jason Coots, Rebecca Fields, Daniel Garmon.Four Great Grandchildren, Taylor & Kennedy Carter, Tucker Coots, & Andrew Fields also survive.In addition to her husband and parents one Brother Harry Willard Law precedes her in death. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Strode Funeral Home Scottsville Chapel with burial to follow in the Crescent Hill Cemetery in Scottsville, KY. Visitation will be held after 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 15, 2015 and after 7:30 A.M. Tuesday, June 16, 2015 until time of funeral.
