Seymour Alphius Collins

Mr. Seymour Alphius Collins, age 59, of Gamaliel, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Tristar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. Seymour was born on May 15, 1962, a son of the late Steven “Bucky”, and Patsy Gregory Collins. He married Brenda Faye Smith on October 24, 2000, he and his wife attended Indian Creek Baptist Church. Seymour was a groundskeeper at the golf course for several years and enjoyed farming.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Faye Collins; one son, Matthew Collins, both of Gamaliel, two grandchildren; Maggie and Andy, a brother; Stevie Joe Collins and wife Genetta of Glasgow, Kentucky; two sisters; Hope Lee Miller and her husband Robert of Nashville, Tennessee, and Tiffany Faith Stoops and husband Jay of Tompkinsville, several nieces, and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.
In respect to Seymour’s wishes, cremation was chosen with a Memorial Service to be held at a later date.
