Sarah Faye Gillenwater Brown

Sarah Faye Gillenwater Brown, age 76 of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at her home. She was born on October 27, 1946, and raised in Fountain Run, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late J. N.  and Edna Johnson. She was a member of Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Sarah Faye was unwaveringly devoted to her family and church.

She is survived by her daughter, Keri Jo Eaton (Tim) of Tompkinsville, Kentucky; her daughter, Kellie Moore (Todd) of Bowling Green, Kentucky; her son-in-law, Allen O. Wilson of Grand Rivers, Kentucky; her grandson, Joseph Eaton (Kayla); her granddaughter, Sarah West (Zach); her granddaughter, Olivia Moore; her granddaughter, Katie Jo Moore; great-granddaughter Allie Jo Eaton; great-granddaughter Elaina Kate West; great-grandson Wade Eaton; great-grandson Emmett West; and brother Alan Johnson (Sherlina).

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Gillenwater, her husband William Brown, and her daughter Amelia Brown Wilson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, beginning at 1:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 8:00 AM until the service time. Burial will follow at Beautiful Home Cemetery in Tompkinsville, Kentucky. Bro. Shannon Arnett and Bro. Tim Eaton will officiate the service.
