Obituary Runell McPherson Hamilton, 91, of Summer Shade, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 at NHC in Glasgow. She was born September 22, 1922 in Monroe County, KY to the late Homer McPherson and Nellie Parrish McPherson. She was a homemaker and a member of Phillipi Church of Christ. She was united in marriage on March 9, 1940 to Travis Hamilton who preceded her in death on October 28, 2007. She is survived by one son: Ronnie Hamilton and wife Debbie of Summer Shade, two daughters: Judy Dubree and Roy of Summer Shade, Lillian Russell and husband Avalon of Glasgow, 9 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren 12 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 23 at 11:00 AM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the White Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 PM on Sunday and after 7:30 AM on Monday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.
