Roberta Francis Blankenship

Obituary Roberta Francis Neighbors Blankenship age77 of Scottsville, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was born April 22, 1937 in Allen County, KY to the late Sidney Neighbors and Callie Steenbergen Neighbors. She was a retired employee of Kirsch and the widow of Clovis Blankenship. She is survived by two sons: David Blankenship and wife Suzie and Dwight Blankenship and wife Pam all of Scottsville, two grandchildren: Drew and Davis Blankenship. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers: Sidney Neighbors, Jr and George Neighbors and three sisters: Lola Neighbors, Barbara Butcher and Helen Thomas. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 31 at 11:00 AM at Strode Funeral Home in Scottsville with burial to follow in the Maple Grove General Church Cemetery in Allen County. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM on Friday and after 7:30 AM on Saturday at Strode Funeral Home in Scottsville. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
