Ricky B. Bartley

Ricky B. Bartley, age 62, of Tompkinsville passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021, at his residence. He was born on February 8, 1959, a son of the late Fred Bartley and Jean (McPherson) Bartley. Ricky was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of Christ, a member of The National Wild Turkey Federation, and an avid hunter and fishermen.
He is survived by his mother, Jean (McPherson) Bartley; two daughters, Rachelle Walker and husband Mark, and Rendy Cole and husband Justin; four brothers, Bobby Bartley and wife Paulette, Bill Bartley and wife Betty, Bryon Bartley, and wife Teresa and Ben Bartley and wife Karen; two sisters, Gay Hammer and husband Wayne and Faye Hurt; five grandchildren, Braxton and Allyston Walker, Britton, Justley, and Jaxton Cole; several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Loretta Bryant.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial in Memorial Lawn and Garden. Jason Page will officiate the service.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 24, 2021, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Sunday morning after 8:00 am until time for the service.
Pallbearers will be Braxton Walker, Jarad, Mac Ryan, and Derrick Bartley, Eric Hurt, and Ashley Bryant. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dean Smith, Pleasant Hill Church members, Dennie Biggerstaff, nieces, and extended family.
For the protection of Mr. Bartley’s family, it is kindly asked for everyone coming to the service to abide by Governor Beshear’s recommendation of wearing a mask and practice social distancing.
