Obituary
Reba Mae Scott Fudge, 98, of Gamaliel, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville.She was born March 23, 1918 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Charlie Scott and Maggie Ruth Hogan Scott. She was a homemaker, of the Methodist Faith and past Republican Women's Chairman of Cumberland County. She was united in marriage on December 11, 1945 to Franklin Marshall Fudge who preceded her in death on December 27, 1994.She is survived by one son: Dale Fudge and wife Mary Ann of Gamaliel, three grandchildren: Jill Willingham and husband Chip of Woodburn, KY, John Fudge of Gamaliel and Julie Breidwell and husband Jim of Georgetown, KY, four great grandchildren: Sydney and Kendall Willingham and Matthew and Daniel Breidwell.In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers: Dallas and Charlie Edd Scott, five sisters: Trixie Garmon, Mamie Hurt, Ruth Scott, Lorine Scott and Lucy Scott.Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 22 at 11:00 AM at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel with burial to follow in the Gamaliel Cemetery.Visitation will be after 4:00 PM on Thursday and after 7:30 AM on Friday at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel.Memorials are suggested to the Gamaliel Cemetery.
