Ralston Whitney Bewley

Obituary Ralston Whitney Bewley, age 93 of Scottsville, went to his heavenly home January 17, 2014 at the Southern Kentucky Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.He was born to the late Drewie Bryan Bewley and Ruth Whitney Bewley on October 11, 1920 in Barren Co. KY. He served in the United States Coast Guard aboard the troop carrier USS Admiral C.F. Hughes During WWII. He was a member of Mt Gilead Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a song leader, and Deacon for 57 Years. He also served as the church clerk and treasurer. In addition to his parents he is preceeded in death by his Brother Doc Bewley sister in lawByrna Brown Bewley and sister Nettie Bewley Hudson. He is Survived by his Wife of 67 years, Eunice Strausburg Bewley, of Scottsville. One Daughter Diane Bewley Fisher and husband Kenneth, of Scottsville. One granddaughter Lisa Gentry and husband Jeff of Lafayette TN.Two Great Grandchildren, Judi and Eric Gentry of Lafayette TN.Nephew, Bryan Bewley and wife Donna of Bowling Green, KYNiece Becky Catlett and husband Larry of Fort Thomas, KYNine, Morgan nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday January 20, 2014 at Strode Funeral Home in Scottsville, Bro. J.C. Carpenter, Bro. Kenneth Fisher, and Bro. Dustin Richards Officiating, with burial in the Crescent Hill Cemetery in Scottsville, KY.Visitation will Be after 12:00 P.M Sunday January 19, 2014and after 7:30 A.M.
