Raina Gay Turner Cross, 63, of Fountain Run, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville.She was born October 12, 1951 in Monroe County, KY to Wilma Dennison Turner of Gamaliel and the late Wendell Turner. She was a retired garment factory worker and a member of Plano Baptist Church.She is survived by her husband: Abe Lee Cross of Ft. Run, one daughter: Tiffiany Pedigo and husband Chris of Tompkinsville, mother: Wilma Turner of Gamaliel,three grandchildren: Micah Abe Cross, Caban Reid Green and Kaitlynn Green, two step grandchildren, special niece: Johnna Carter and husband Chris of Lafayette, TN, special nephew: Jeff Steenbergen of Gamaliel and several nieces and nephews also survive.In addition to her father she was preceded in death by two sons: Christopher Lee Cross and Shannon Wendell Cross and one sister: Cheryl Kaye Steenbergen.Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 16 at 1:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Fountain Run CemeteryVisitation will be after 3:00 PM on Friday and after 7:30 AM on Saturday at Strode Funeral Home in TompkinsvilleMemorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
