Paul Milton Head, age 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, with his family by his side, at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Paul was born on May 6, 1937, a son of the late Dewey Head and Alta Blythe Head. He retired from International Harvester (Navistar) after 40 years of service. 

Paul is survived by two sons, Mark Head and wife Tandra; and Michael Head and Renee; one grandchild, Madison; the mother of his children, Geraldine Murphy Head of Louisville; sister, Eva Bryant of Indianapolis, Indiana; two brothers, J.D. Head of Indianapolis, and Jack Head of Tompkinsville. Twenty-two nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Tommy Head, and four sisters; Betty Butler, Cecil Brown, Georgia Myatt, and Isa Helen Richardson.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow in Center Point Cemetery, Bro. Davy Myatt and John Osgatharp will officiate the services. 

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, after 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and again on Sunday after 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hosparus Health in memory of Paul.

The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to Renee, who Paul considered like a daughter, for caring for him and to Hosparus Health for their excellent care of him in his last days.
