Mrs. Pamela “Pam” Sue Turner Gearlds, age 64, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Pam was born in Tompkinsville, Kentucky on February 1, 1960, a daughter of the late James Earl and Sylvia Ellen Gentry Turner. She was a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church. Pam was a VFW Auxiliary Life Member, Pam had a love for the Beach, and spending as much time as she could there. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, attending their sporting events, and shopping. She was a graduate of Gamaliel High School class of 1978.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip D. Gearlds, two daughters; Kristy Sewell and husband Will of Smiths Grove, and Jennifer Smith and husband BJ of Glasgow, one son, Jonathan Gearlds and wife Bethany of Glasgow. Four grandchildren; Hannah Gearlds, Jayden Sewell, Anslee Gearlds, and Myles Smith. One sister, Kathy Turner, four brothers-in-law; Ricky Gearlds and wife Rhonda of Alvaton, Duane Gearlds and wife Pam of Gamaliel, Gene Gearlds and wife Victoria of Gamaliel, and Gary Gearlds and wife Tammy of Smiths Grove. Her mother-in-law, Corinia Gearlds and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends also survive.
She was preceded in death, by her parents, and sister-in-law, Sheena Gearlds.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Indian Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery in Glasgow, Kentucky. Bro. Gene Gearlds will officiate the service.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, after 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Indian Creek Baptist Church, and continue on Friday morning after 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Indian Creek Baptist Church.
Casket Bearers: Jonathan Gearlds, Myles Smith, BJ Smith, Will Sewell, Jayden Sewell, and Abe Scott
Honorary Casket Bearers: Ricky Gearlds, Duane Gearlds, Gene Gearlds, and Gary Gearlds
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center. Those may be made at the funeral home.
