Obituary
Otis Ray Cain, age 78, of Lafayette, TN passed away Friday, July 4, 2014 at the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette.He was born May 11, 1936 in Monroe County, KY to the late Rubin Thomas Cain and Mattie Lee Anderson Cain. He was a farmer and was united in marriage on December 31, 1955 to the former Linda Laverne Wood in Celina, TN.He is survived by his wife: Linda Laverne Wood Cain of Lafayette, TN, four sons: Keith Cain of Gamaliel, Tony Cain of Tompkinsville, Chris Cain of Red Boiling Spgs., TN, Kelly Cain of Gamaliel,two daughters: Robin Pierce of Smith GroveTammy Jones of Red Boiling Spgs., TN, one sister: Geneva Hagan of Tompkinsville, two brothers: Carl Thomas Cain and Boyd Cain both of Michigan,thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son: Ricky Cain, four sisters: Ina Fay Hale, Billie King, Clarice Scott and Irene Turner.Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 9 at 11:00 AM at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel with burial to follow in the Rocky Hill Cemetery in Monroe County.Visitation will be after 11:00 AM on Tuesday and after 7:30 AM on Wednesday at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel.Memorials are suggested to the Rocky Hill Cemetery.
