Minnie Pearl (Thompson) McGuire, age 82, of Pendleton, Indiana, and formerly of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023, at Riverview Health in Noblesville, Indiana. She was born in Hestand, Kentucky on May 12, 1941, a daughter of the late Brance Emmitt and Fannie Bell (Cain) Thompson. She was a member of the Stoney Creek Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Bruce McGuire (Dawn) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Lori McGuire of Pendleton, Indiana, Jeff McGuire (Ronda) of Lapel, Indiana, and Jennifer McGuire of Indianapolis, Indiana; one brother, Wiley Thompson (Vickie) of Noblesville, Indiana; two grandchildren Nicholas McGuire of Anderson, Indiana and Anthony McGuire of Lapel, Indiana, along with two great-grandchildren, Thea, and Luca McGuire also survive.
In addition to her parents, Bransford and Fannie Thompson she was preceded in death by her husband, William Bruce McGuire; her brothers, Walter B., J.C., Jess, Junior, Newman, Miley, and Estes Thompson, and sisters, Roxie, Ailene and Martha Thompson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, Kentucky with burial in the Bailey Cemetery. Tim McHenry will officiate the services.
Visitation will be Thursday from noon until the time of the service at 2:00 pm.
