Mildred Kerr

Mrs. Mildred “Millie” Kerr, age 75, of the Rockbridge Community, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Tristar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Mildred was born in Clinton, Tennessee on April 24, 1949, a daughter of the late Harry Clarence and Nettie Annalee (Hall) Moore. Mildred married J. E. Kerr on August 31, 1968. She worked for Key Industries for several years until their closing. She was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mildred is survived by her husband; J.E. Kerr, son, Randy Kerr and wife Kim, of Elizabethtown, daughter, Susan Hammer, and husband David, and son, Kevin Kerr and wife Lacey all of Glasgow. Six grandchildren, Meagan Bishop, Bayley Hammer, Ethan Kerr, Lucas Kerr, Kendall Kerr, and Levi Kerr also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Jeremy Ellis Kerr, one granddaughter, Lydia Brooke Kerr, and four brothers; Robert Moore, Jimmy Moore, Harry Moore, and Gary Moore.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial to follow in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Jason Page will officiate the services. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday morning from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Stroke Association in memory of Mildred.
