Mary Elizabeth Wilson

Obituary Mary Elizabeth Wilson, 97, of Gamaliel, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013 at The Palace in Red Boiling Spgs., TN. She was born June 6, 1916 in Warren County, KY to the late Earl Jewell Thomas and Zena Deweese Thomas. She was a homemaker, a member of Gamaliel United Methodist Church, Charter member of Monroe County Homemakers and volunteered at Monroe Health & Rehab playing the piano. She was united in marriage on June 20, 1936 to Dewey Wilson who preceded her in death on June 27, 1992. She is survived by one daughter: Geraldine Eubank of Gamaliel, two grandchildren: Johnny Eubank and Sherree, Beth Kesel and Greg, six great grandchildren: Sarah Jones and Bart, Laura Trupka and Paul, Mary Johnston and Michael, Josh Eubank, Stephen Kesel, Christy Eubank, one great-great grandchild: Ty Wilson Jones. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by Son-in-law: Joe Eagle Eubank, brothers: Jimmie and Jewell Thomas, sister: Mildred Holland and great grandchild: John David Eubank. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 23 at 1:00 PM at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel with burial to follow in the Rocky Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 PM on Sunday and after 7:30 AM on Monday at Strode Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel.
