Obituary Mary Ann Ross Kerr, 99, of Tompkinsville, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville.She was born March 30, 1915 in Monroe County, KY to the late William Elijah Ross and Enna Bell Gray Ross. She was a retired school teacher, a member of Tompkinsville Church of Christ, KY retired Teachers Association and NEA member. She was the widow of Millard H. Kerr.She is survived by two sons: Millard Kerr of Sunset City West, AR, Randy Kerr of Ashville, NC, three daughters: Louise Bartley of Tompkinsville, Janice Richey of Shelbyville, KY, Kathy Kerr of Tompkinsville, 15 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son: Ralph Ross Kerr, four brothers: Alton, Fowler, Sr., Albert Ross and an infant, three sisters: Wilma Boyles, Alma Head and Nell Gearlds.Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 24 at 2:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in Old Mt. Hermon Cemetery.Visitation will be after 2:00 PM on Wednesday and after 7:30 AM on Thursday at Strode Funeral Home.Memorials are suggested to the Old Mt. Hermon Cemetery or the Center Point Cemetery.
