Obituary Mary Louree Hope Howard, 87 of Tompkinsville, passed away Monday June 19, 2017 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville.She was born September 27, 1929 in Monroe County, KY to the late Issac Hershell Hope and Virgie Bryant Hope. She was a retired sales clerk for Bruton's Supply and a member of Beaumont Methodist Church. She was united in marriage on April 1, 1950 the Stanley Howard who preceded her in death on October 14, 1989.She is survived by one son: Jerry Howard and wife Brenda of Summer Shade, nieces and nephews also survive.In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one brother: Jesse Hope and one sister: Jalma Ballard.Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 22 at 1:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in Monroe County Memorial Lawn.Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday and after 7:30 AM on Thursday at Strode Funeral Home.Memorials are suggested to the White Cemetery.
