Martha M. Scott

Obituary Martha M. Montgomery Scott, 87, of Tompkinsville, formerly of Bradford, Pennsylvania, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the Monroe County Medical Center. She was born March 20, 1928 in Clarion Co., PA to the late Joseph Glen Montgomery and Florence Jesse Snyder Montgomery. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She is survived by her son: David P. Scott and wife Holly of Mt. Hermon, KY and her daughter: Lois E. Pivovarnik and husband Albert of Limestone, NY. One brother: Winan Montgomery of Rimersburg, PA. Four sisters: Phyllis Blair of Knox, PA, Helen Marshall of Kittaning, PA, Lois Sherman of Erie, PA, and Jane Davis of Spencerville, MD. 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frederick C. Scott and one sister, Lorraine Baucom. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 9th 2015 at 4:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Celina Rd. in Tompkinsville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the worldwide work of Jehovah's Witnesses at the local Kingdom Hall and or at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.
