Martha Elizabeth (Mayo) Cropper, age 75, of the Boles Community of Tompkinsville passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023, at her home. She was born January 31, 1948, the daughter of the late Crit and Ruby (Walden) Mayo. Martha was a member of the Tompkinsville First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Carrie Beth Cropper Scott (Jeff) of Celina, Tennessee, Allison Painter (Johnny) of Cookeville, Tennessee, and Charlton Cropper (Megan) of Eighty-Eight; two sisters Mary Graham and Helen Mikitka; seven grandchildren, Reagan and Cooper White, Cade Painter, Mack Strehle, Slayton & Paxtyn Cropper, and Loren (Jeremy) Reed also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Ned Cropper.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Beech Grove Boles Cemetery. Bro. Leo Bilbrey will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 19, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Martha's family will continue fellowship at the Gamaliel United Methodist Fellowship Hall for a meal and celebration of life on Sunday at 4:30 after the graveside service.
Pallbearers: Danny Joe Waller, Bryan Hale, Nicholas Burnett, Matthew Burnett, Cole Bush, Kolton Myatt, Duane Strehle, and Jeremy Reed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beech Grove Boles Cemetery in memory of Martha.
