Obituary Marjorie Lee Centers England, 85, of Gamaliel passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Monroe Health & Rehab in Tompkinsville. She was born December 22, 1928 in Barren County, KY to the late Claudie Centers and Viola Martin Centers. She was a retired garment factory worker and homemaker. She was united in marriage on June 17, 1953 to Dennis Leon England who preceded her in death on February 7, 2014. She is survived by two sons: Dennis England and companion Paulette Terry of Hermitage Spgs., TN, Tim England and wife Angela of Lafayette, TN, one daughter: Detra Owens of Gamaliel, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers: Wendell Pete Centers and Joe Ed Hale and two sisters: Clara Jane Brown and Katherine Turner. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 13 at 2:00 PM at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel with burial to follow in the Gamaliel Cemetery Visitation will be after 2:00 PM on Friday and after 7:30 AM on Saturday at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel.
