Obituary Luke Linus Winter age 18, of Tompkinsville, passed away Tuesday January 21, 2014 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was born April 8, 1995 in Barren Co. Ky. to Elizabeth Christensen Winter and the late Steven Linus Winter. He was a Monroe County High School Senior, where he was a member of the JR ROTC, and the Chess Club. He was also a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church in Flippin, KY. He is survived by: his Mother Elizabeth Christensen Winter of Tompkinsville, KY One Brother - Kurt Winter of Tompkinsville, KY Two Sisters Elizabeth Canning of Denver, CO Taryn Winter of Tompkinsville, KY Grandparents - Arthur and Mary Winter of Sioux Falls, SD He is preceded in death Father - Steven Linus Winter Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday January 26, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Monroe Co. High School Gymnasium in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Neal cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation will be after 4:00 P.M. Saturday January 25, 2014 at the Strode Funeral Home Tompkinsville Chapel and after 11:00 A.M. on Sunday at the Monroe Co. High School Gymnasium.
