Lola Morene (Graves) Sheffield

Lola Morene (Graves) Sheffield, age 73, of Tompkinsville passed away on October 8, 2022, at her residence. She was born on November 30, 1948, the daughter of the late Ewing Estes Graves and Arlene Walden. She was a member of Hickory Ridge Church of Christ and attended the Cyclone Church of Christ. Lola retired from the State Department of Human Services and worked many numerous part-time jobs.  She liked to travel, go shopping, do yard work, garden, and go to yard sales.

She is survived by her children, Tony (Tank) James Bryant and Sabrina Smith and her husband Anthony; one granddaughter, Chana Smith and her fiancé Deonte Driver; one great-granddaughter, Aleigha Mae Grace Driver; one sister, Carolene Graves; two brothers, Johnny Graves and wife Glaydell and Willard (Freddie) Graves and wife Binnie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma L. Graves; two brothers, Truen D. Graves and James K. Walden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from Bartley & Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Monroe County Memorial Lawn.

Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday morning after 7:00 am until the time for the services at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hickory Ridge Cemetery in memory of Mrs. Sheffield.
