Lisa Ann (Yokley) Burnett

Mrs. Lisa Ann (Yokley) Burnett, age 58, of Gamaliel, Kentucky passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023 at the Monroe County Medical Center.  Lisa was born in Tompkinsville, Kentucky on July 11, 1964, a daughter of the late Murl Neal Yokley, and Joyce Louise (Ford) Yokley, who survives. She graduated from Gamaliel High School, Class of 1982 and attended Flippin Church of Christ.  Lisa was a huge supporter of The Second Amendment, and loved her guns. 

She is survived by her husband, Donovan Burnett, of Gamaliel, her mother, Joyce Louise (Ford) Yokley, of Fountain Run, two children, Joshua Creek and wife Amanda, and Jessica Pippin and husband Danny, both of Fountain Run, two sisters; Kathy Murley and husband Ricky, of Glasgow, and Tammy Veach and husband Chris, along with four brothers; Jeff Yokley, Greg Yokley, David Yokley, and Bobby Yokley all of Fountain Run.  Four grandchildren, Bricen and Brilee Creek, Eli and Colby Pippin along with six step-children also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Creek.  

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Bartley & Sons Gamaliel Chapel, with burial to follow in The Neal Cemetery, with Bro. Jeremy Yokley Officiating the services.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday Morning from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
