Linda Fay Myatt Thompson, 67, of Tompkinsville, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 at her home. She was born July 24, 1947 in Monroe County, KY to the late Jewell Myatt and Mattie Young Myatt. She was a retired garment factory worker. She was united in marriage on February 19, 1966 to James Junior Thompson. She is survived by her husband: James Junior Thompson of Tompkinsville, two sons: Tony Thompson and wife Charoletta of Mt. Hermon, Phillip Thompson and companion Christie Huff of Mt. Hermon, one daughter: Kristie Hunter and companion Jeremy Ascani of Tompkinsville, two brothers: Paul Maytt of Mt. Hermon, Steve Myatt of Sulphur Lick and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 27 at 2:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Harlans Crossroad Cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation will be after 3:00 PM on Friday and after 7:30 AM on Saturday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. Memorials are suggested to the Harlans Crossroad Cemetery.
