Obituary Lillian Johnson Greer, 97, of Gamaliel, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Signature Health Care in Tompkinsville.She was born May 22, 1919 in Tolono, IL to the late Norman Wilson and Fanny Edwards Wilson. She was a retired sales clerk and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church.She is survived by two sons: Glen Johnson and wife Carol of Gamaliel, George Johnson and wife Phyllis of Hardyville, two daughters: Linda Gordon of Louisville, Donna Bowling and husband Joe of Florida, one sister: Berniece Niedel of Illinois, seven grandchildren: Tina Deckard, Greg Lawson, Tracy Hunter, David Paul Johnson, Luther Robert Johnson, Jennifer Johnson, Lucas Johnson, great grandchildren: Jordan and Morgan Deckard and several other great grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands: Robert Johnson and Thomas Greer, one son: David Johnson, one brother: Russell Wilson, four sisters: Nezzie Hanners, Goldie Costello, Eilene Smith and Mable Matthews.Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 1 a 2:00 PM at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel with burial to follow in the Neal Cemetery at Flippin.Visitation will be after 10:00 AM on Saturday at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel.Memorials are suggested to the Gamaliel Volunteer Fire Department.
