Obituary Kenneth Robert Wilkinson, 78, of Tompkinsville, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Monroe Health & Rehab in Tompkinsville.He was born August 25, 1937 in Wayne County, Michigan to the late Thomas Arley Wilkinson and Jessie Mae Harvey Wilkinson. He was a retired EMT for Monroe County Medical Center, a US Army Korean Veteran and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. He was united in marriage on June 1, 1993 to the former Betty Dubree.He is survived by his wife: Betty Dubree Wilkinson of Tompkinsville, two nieces: Brittany Crowe and Brandi Crowe both of Tompkinsville and one brother: Jack Wilkinson of Michigan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son: Tommy Wilkinson. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 17 at 2:30 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Skaggs Creek Cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation will be after 5:00 PM on Wednesday and after 7:30 AM on Thursday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. Memorials are suggested to DAV Chapter 20 or Humane Society (ASPCA).
