Obituary Kenneth Wayne Anderson, 76, of Gamaliel passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014 at his home. He was born March 28, 1938 in Clay County, N to the late Harry Floyd "Tobe" Anderson and Mary Auby Cherry Anderson. He was a retired Radio and TV serviceman, he taught several years at the Tri County Vocational School in Red Boiling Springs and was a retired sewer plant operator for the City of Gamaliel.He was united in marriage on Jul 25, 1958 to the former Thelma Birdwell in Lafayette, TN. He is survived by his wife: Thelma Birdwell Anderson of Gamaliel, three sons: Phillip Deno Anderson and wife Diana of Houston, TX, James Randy Anderson and wife Rita of Nobob, KY, Brian Keith Anderson of Lafayette, TN, one daughter: Angie Anderson of Lafayette, TN, one brother: Lloyd Anderson of McCormick Ridge Community in TN, sister-in-law: Marie Anderson of Moss, TN,five grandchildren: Randy Mitchell Anderson, Terry Anderson, Lauren Emberton and husband Eric, Chip Anderson and Ashley Anderson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in y one brother: Garth Anderson. Two sisters: Barbara Fay Anderson, Marsha Mae Anderson and one sister-in-law: Theresia Anderson. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 11 at 2:00 PM at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel with burial to follow in the Anderson Cherry Cemetery in Clay County, TN. Visitation will be after 6:00 PM on Monday and after 7:30 AM on Tuesday and Wednesday at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Anderson Cherry Cemetery.
