Kathy Cross Simmons

Obituary Kathy Cross Simmons, 53, of Mt. Hermon passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at her home. She was born September 29, 1960 in Monroe County, KY to the late Omas Cross and Lois Clark Cross. She was a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church and Eastern Star. She was united in marriage on May 6, 1977 to Steve Simmons. She is survived by her husband: Steve Simmons of Mt. Hermon, one daughter: Crystal Simmons of Mt. Hermon, one son: Josh Pedigo of NC, one sister: Sarah Faye Gary of Bowling Green. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother: Darrell Cross. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 4 at 1:30 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Turner Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 PM on Friday, Jan. 3 and after 7:30 AM on Saturday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville Memorials are suggested to the Turner Cemetery.
