Ms. Julie Ann Kirk, age 66, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and formerly of Tompkinsville, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024, at The Medical Center of Bowling Green. Julie was born in Tompkinsville on September 16, 1957, a daughter of the late Terry Witt and Clarene (Shirley) Kirk. She was a 1975 Graduate of Tompkinsville High School and worked for several years at Monroe County Health & Rehab as a Certified Nurse Aide. Julie had a smile that could light up any room and was known for her outgoing personality. She enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandbabies.
She is survived by four daughters, Claresa Carter and husband Jason of Scottsville, Shantell Ash and husband Bobby of Glasgow, Stacey Hurt and Husband Eric, and Tracey Kirk of Bowling Green. Her siblings, Harold Kirk and wife Debra, Frances Young and husband Rick, Dicky Kirk and wife Janetta, Ricky Kirk and wife Betty, and Victor Tooley, nine grandchildren, Jayden, Dawson, and Bryson Weyrauch, Ann Rhoads, Biankah Carter, Wittlee, and Oliver Hurt, Tayven and Tayshawn Donigan, one aunt, Katherine Graves and one special friend, Katie Hamilton also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Foster Kirk, Connie Tooley, Sandra Evans, Carolyn Brown, and William "Bill" Kirk, and a daughter, Beteena Kirk.
Funeral Services for Ms. Kirk will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial to follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Clifton Lee Hamilton will officiate the service.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
Pallbearers: Wayne, Jayden, Dawson, and Bryson Weyrauch, Eric and Oliver Hurt, Harlan Kirk, Bobby Ash, Jason Carter and Anthony Carroll
