Obituary Joe Edd Frazier, age 81, of Tompkinsville passed away Thursday, August 02, 2018 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born on February 10, 1937 in Monroe County, KY to the late Vestus Frazier and Nettie Pennington Frazier. On October 21, 1961 he was united in marriage with his wife Joyce Gearlds Frazier in Celina, TN. He was retired from the State of Kentucky Highway Department. He was also a member of the Mt. Gilead Church of Christ.In addition to his wife he is survived by two Daughters: Tracy Ann Mabry of Cookeville, TN and Tina Marie Yokley and husband William of Tompkinsville, one son: Joe Stephen Frazier and wife Tahonee of Hixson, TN, two brothers: Harold Frazier and wife Catherine and Ted Frazier both of Tompkinsville, two sisters: Margie Rich of Tompkinsville, KY and Mary Kingrey of Summer Shade, KY and ten grandchildren, and six great - grandchildren also survive.In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his one daughter: Teresa Gail Bowles, one brother: Carl Frazier, three sisters: Carolyn Lambert, Ruth Davis, and Caroline Frazier.Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, August 05, 2018 at 1:30 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. Speaker William Yokley and Bro. Jimmy Cook will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Old Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 04 from 4:00 PM TO 8:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. Visitation will continue on Sunday, August 05 from 7:30 AM until service time at 1:30 PM.In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to the American Heart Association.
