Obituary
Jo Anna McDonald Taylor, 72, of Gamaliel, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville.She was born September 15, 1943 in Macon County, TN to the late Millard McDonald and Beatrice Dyer McDonald. She was a retired factory worker. She was united in marriage on March 21, 1964 to Clarence Taylor.She is survived by her husband: Clarence Taylor of Gamaliel, three sons: Todd Taylor of Glasgow, David Taylor of Owensboro and Jon Taylor and wife Sarah of Tompkinsville, one sister: Janet Strong of Gamaliel, three grandchildren: Tiffany Cheyenne Taylor, Gracie Paige Taylor and Sadie Elizabeth Taylor.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers: Harold, Carl, Cyler, Clayton and Coin McDonald, five sisters: Helen Anderson, Bliss Miller, Frances McDonald, Lucy Clemmer and Mattie Kleinfelter.Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 12 at 3:00 PM at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel with burial to follow in the Gamaliel Cemetery.Visitation will be after 2:00 PM on Saturday and 8:00 AM on Sunday at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel.Memorials are suggested to the Gamaliel Cemetery.
