Obituary Jewel Dean "Dit" Ford, 86, of Valley, AL, passed away Friday, December 23 in LaGrange, GA.She was born April 14, 1930 in Tallassee, AL. She was a retired bookkeeper, housewife and a member Morning View Baptist Church. She was united in marriage on December 24, 1952 to Leon Ford.She is survived by her husband: Leon Ford of Valley, AL, one son: Randy Sedlak Ford of Camas, Washington, one daughter: Angie Ward of Valley, AL, one sister: Sibil Nolin of Montgomery, AL, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.Funeral services will be conducted, Wednesday, December 28 at 11:00 AM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.Visitation will be after10:00 AM on Wednesday until time of service.Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
