Obituary Jessie Boyd Thompson, 70, of Red Boiling Spgs., TN, formerly of Monroe County, passed away Friday, January 29 at The Palace in Red Boiling Springs.He was born February 20, 1945 in Monroe County, KY to the late J. C. Thompson and Clara Jackson Thompson. He was a member of the Church of Christ.He is survived by three brothers: James Thompson, Jr., Danny Thompson and Jerry Frank Thompson all of Tompkinsville, three sisters: Sue Ellston of Louisville, Connie Carter and Mary Francis Monday both of Tompkinsville, several nieces and nephews also survive.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Gary Thomas Thompson, Ralph Edward Thompson and one sister: Anna Runell Thompson and step father: Jess Frank Thompson.Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 1 at 1:00 PM at strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Bailey Cemetery at Hestand.Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday and after 7:30 AM on Monday at Strode Funeral Home.Memorials are suggested to the Bailey Cemetery.
