Obituary James Thompson, 74, of Louisville, KY passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018.James was a native of Monroe County, KY and was retired from Phillip Morris.He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Ruby Murphy Thompson, and niece, Pamela Murphy.He is survived by his sister, Joyce Wommer; niece, Judy Graves; and great nephew, James Graves.Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 2 at 1 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. Entombment will follow at the Monroe County Memorial Lawn.Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, June 1, from 4-8 PM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY. Visitation will continue on Saturday, June 2 from 9 AM until service time at 1PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.
