Obituary James Herman Cheek, age 87, of Scottsville, KY, passed away Thursday January 23, 2014 at his Residence in Scottsville, KYHe was born October, 13 1926, in Adair County, KY to the late Kermer Cheek and Celia Tedder . He was married, Febuary 12, 1960 to his wife Kathryn Willioughby. He was a Member of Clifton General Baptist Church. He is survived by five sons: James Frank Cheek and wife Connie, of Washington NE, Robert Cheek and wife Debbie, of Plainfield, IN. Stephen Cheek and wife Sharon of Scottsville, KY Dewayne Cheek and wife Michelle of Scottsville, KY Scott Cheek , of Scottsville, KY.Three sisters, Inez Price of Edinburg, IN, Barbara Hey of Edinburg, IN and Mary Luttrell, of Scottsville, KY Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 26, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Scottsville with burial following in the Allen County Memorial Gardens, Scottsville, KY.Visitation will begin Saturday, January 25, 2014, after 10:00 A.M. at the Strode Funeral Home Scottsville Chapel.
