Obituary
Inell F. Smith went to her heavenly home on October 3, 2020. Inell was born August 14, 1933, in Tompkinsville, Kentucky to the late Will Goad & Martha Elizabeth (Carnahan) Goad. Inell was married to Chester Smith on August 9, 1950, in Monroe County. She lived in Beech Grove, IN, and was a housewife. She was saved on July 28, 1947, and became a member of Gulley Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son Eddie Smith (Shirley), Indianapolis, IN, daughters Linda Garrett (James), Glasgow, KY, Debra Cobb (Michael), Indianapolis, IN, & Alesia Jewell (Bobby), Indianapolis, IN. Grandchildren Samuel & James Robert Smith, Johnathan, Jeremy & Jeriah Jewell. Step grandchildren Lisa (Keen) Dyer, Tyler & Lucas Cobb. Great-grandchildren Zachary Smith, Isabella Smith, Matthew Smith, Nathaniel Jewell, Abigail Jewell, Juniper Jewell, Olivia Jewell, and Norah Jewell. Step great-grandchildren Christopher & Jonathan Carmichael. Step Great Great-Grandchildren Kylie, Leland, and Jonathan Jr. Sister Dorthy Pearl Emberton of Louisville, KY, and Mary Copas of Monticello, IN. and many nieces and nephews that she loves dearly. Inell was preceded in death by her parents Will and Martha Elizabeth (Carnahan) Goad, her husband Chester Smith, grandson Eddie Smith Jr., sisters Dona (Goad) Scott, Laurie (Goad) Arnold, Lilly (Goad) Thompson, three brothers; Bethel Goad, Oscar Goad, Lawrence Goad, and one son-in-law Todd Huey.
Visitation will be held at Anderson-Bartley Funeral Home on Friday, October 9, 2020, from 12:00 until 8:00 PM, and resume Saturday, October 10, 2020, from 9:00 AM until time for Funeral Services at 2:00 PM. Mrs. Inell will be laid to rest at Beautiful Home Cemetery.
