Obituary Ina May Strode Botts, 97, of Tompkinsville, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Monroe Health & Rehab in Tompkinsville.She was born August 9, 1917 in Monroe County, KY to the late Arthur Strode and Elva Brady Strode. She was a homemaker and a member of Poplar Log Baptist Church. She was the widow of Evans William Botts.She is survived by two half brothers: Luther Strode of Edmonton, KY, Joe Edd Strode of TN, one daughter-in-law: Geneva Botts of Tompkinsville,three grandchildren , six great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son: Clinton Botts, one brother: Roy Strode, four half brothers: Willie, Earl, James and Floyd Strode, one sister: Bessie Walker and two half sisters: Julia Mesker and Jewell Woods.Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 26 at 3:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Ebenezer CemeteryVisitation will be after 3:00 PM on Sunday and after 7:30 AM on Monday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.Memorials are suggested to the Poplar Log Baptist Church.
