Harold Lee Kirk

Mr. Harold Lee Kirk, age 65, of Tompkinsville, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Harold was born on January 5, 1959, a son of the late Terry Witt and Clarene (Shirley) Kirk. He worked for OshKosh, attended Kingdom Hill Church of Christ, and was a graduate of Tompkinsville High School class of 1978. Harold was an avid 49ers fan, enjoyed watching sports, and loved dogs.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Debra Gail (Jenkins) Kirk of Tompkinsville, one son, Harlan Lee Kirk and companion Brigit Rush of Bowling Green. One sister, Nellie Frances Young and husband Ricky of Glasgow, three brothers; Dicky Kirk and wife Janetta, Ricky Kirk and wife Betty, and Victor Tooley all of Tompkinsville. One aunt, Katherine Graves of Tompkinsville, several nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six siblings; Julie Ann Kirk, Foster Kirk, Connie Tooley, Sandra Evans, Carolyn Brown, and William “Bill” Kirk, and one niece, Beteena Kirk.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial to follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Clifton Lee Hamilton will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses, those may be made at the funeral home.
