Gary Allen Thacker

Mr. Gary Allen Thacker, age 25, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on March 7, 2024, at his residence. Gary was born on February 1, 1999 to Jimmy Allen Thacker and Jennifer Lynn (Jackson) Browning. He served in the United States Marine Corps. 

He is survived by both of his parents; Jennifer and husband Tod Browning, of Glasgow, and Jimmy and wife Trina Thacker, of Adolphus, three sisters; Nicole and husband Matthew Phanbandith of Gallatin, Amy Smith and husband John, and Kelly Thacker. Also surviving is six step-siblings; James and wife Victoria Fahrenkamp, Jory Fahrenkamp, Jacob, Alysa, Rebekah, and Zach Browning, grandparents; Kenneth and Toni Ford, and Sharon and Terry Bates, several nieces and nephews also survive. 

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday March 14, 2024 at Bartley & Sons Gamaliel Chapel, with burial to follow in the Gamaliel Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow.  

The family will receive friends on Thursday March 14, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Bartley & Sons Gamaliel Chapel. 

Pallbearers: Scott Moiser, Matt Phanbandith, Jory Fahrenkamp, James Fahrenkamp, Bill Amidon, and Terry Webb.
