Obituary Freddie Russell Spears, 72, of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.He was born May 24, 1943 in Monroe County, KY to the late Arlie Denton Spears and Delma Smith Spears. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Milestown Church of Christ. He was united in marriage on November 27, 1981 to Sally Lavonne Terrell Spears who preceded him in death on August 6, 2015.He is survived by one son: Anthony Spears of Smiths Grove, KY, one step son: Billy Wayne Smith of Gibson, TN, one daughter: Patricia Davis of Scottsville, KY, two step daughters: Lisa Hughes of Bells, TN and Cindy Presley of Red Boiling Spgs., TN, three brothers: Randall Spears of Hestand, KY, George Spears of Red Boiling Spgs. TN, Joe Spears of Tompkinsville, three sisters: Shirley Eversole of Tompkinsville, Loretta Braun of Lewisville, TX, and Linda Parr of Hestand, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one brother: Willie Glen Spears.Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 13 at 11:00 AM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Bailey Cemetery at Hestand.Visitation will be after 4:00 PM on Wednesday and after 7:30 AM on Thursday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.
