Obituary Frank Richard Strode age 79, of Austin KY passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 19, 2016At the Hospice House of Southern KY in Bowling Green, KYHe was born January 23, 1936 in Monroe Co., KY to the late Rev. Emmit Strode and Vera Dubree Strode.He was a retired Farmer, and a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.He was united in marriage on November 20, 1954 in Macon County, TN, to Nelda Eaton Strode who survives.He is survived by, one son, John Strode and wife Christie of Bowling Green KY, and a daughter Jennifer Stinson and husband David of Scottsville, KY.Three sisters Hazel Pitock, of Tompkinsville KY, Hellen Eaton, of Tompkinsville, KY, Eva Jane Spear, of Etoile, KY.Six brothers, William Strode, of Fountain Run, KY, Randal Strode, Wayne Strode, J.E. Strode, Wendell Kay Strode, and Jackie Strode, all of Bowling Green, KY.Seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Ralph Strode, and one sister Anna Mae Strode.Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 25, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Strode Funeral Home Scottsville Chapel with Burial in the Union #1 Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.Visitation will be after 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday January 24, 2016, after 7:30 AM on Monday, January 25, 2016 until funeral time at The Strode Funeral Home Scottsville Chapel.Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
