Obituary Fontice Pipkin, Jr., 68, of Tompkinsville passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 at his home.He was born October 29, 1948 in Monroe County, KY to the late Fontice Pipkin, Sr. and Minnie Shirley. He was a retired City Worker and was married to the former Josephine Howard.He is survived by his wife: Josephine Pipkin of Tompkinsville, three sons: Fontice Pipkin III and wife Edna, Jabbar Pipkin all of Tompkinsville, Michael Pipkin of Columbia, KY, one daughter: Terrell Pipkin of Tompkinsville, three brothers: Ted Randolph of Indiana, Donald Randolph of Nevada, Vernon Pipkin of Indiana, three sisters: Bertie Hurdle of Chicago, IL, Gabrielle Shirley of Georgia, Alma Jean Shirley of Indiana, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is also survived by an aunt, Panquita Tooley-Kirk.IN addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son: Jerome Kirk and a sister: Toni Pipkin.Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 29 at 1:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery.Visitation will be after 10:00 AM until time of service on Saturday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.
