Eula Turner Isenberg

Obituary Eula Turner Isenberg, 94, of Tompkinsville, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2015 at Monroe Health & Rehab in Tompkinsville. She was born June 22, 1920 in Monroe County, KY to the late James Alexander Turner and Nancy Abbigail Comer Turner. She was a homemaker and a member of Freewill Church of Christ. She was united in marriage on December 23, 1939 to Orvil P. Isenberg who preceded her in death on April 17, 1976. She is survived by three sons: Odell Isenberg and wife Wanda of TompkinsvilleDashiell Isenberg and wife Mildred of Tompkinsville, David Joe Isenberg and wife Anna of Moss, TN, three daughters: Dorlis Watson and husband Ranford of Tompkinsville, Catherine Emberton and husband James R. of Tompkinsville,Paulette Bartley and husband Bobby of Tompkinsville, 17grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and 4 step great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four brothers: Maston Jack, Clyde, Otis and Levy Turner, six sisters: Roxie Turner, Pearl Emberton, Ada Tooley, Nina Jenkins, Verda Fullerton and Lola Salmon, one son: Joel Isenberg, and one granddaughter: Caron Lynette Emberton. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 1:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Isenberg Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 PM on Monday and after 7:30 AM on Tuesday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville Memorials are suggested to the Isenberg Cemetery.
