Eric Alan Emberton

Mr. Eric Alan Emberton, age 46, of Somerset, formerly of Tompkinsville passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Eric was born in Tompkinsville on October 3, 1977, to the late Terrell E. Emberton and Janette G. Russell Emberton who survives. He was a Support Specialist at Protea Behavioral Health Counseling. Eric was an avid Cincinnati Reds Fan, loved baseball and music, and was a kind and witty person to be around. 

He is survived by his mother, Janette Russell Emberton of Indianapolis, Indiana, fiancée, Dreama Withrow of Somerset, three sisters; Deena Abney, Amanda Emberton, and Kaylee Emberton all of Indianapolis, Indiana. A host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews also survive. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Terrell Emberton, grandparents; Ova and Lawrence Russell, and Velma and Selby Emberton.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends after 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. Jason Thompson will be officiating the service. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society in memory of Eric.
