Ella Mae Curtis

Mrs. Ella Mae (Geralds) Curtis, age 72, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.  Ella Mae was born on May 17, 1950, the daughter of the late Elmer Edgar and Kathleen Elizabeth (Spears) Geralds. She was an Avon Sales Representative and enjoyed watching westerns, spending time with her family, canning, and gardening. 

She is survived by her children; Tommy Vickery Jr. and his wife Marie of Tompkinsville, James Edward Vickery and his wife Christy of Mt. Hermon, Mark Wayne Vickery and his wife Pam of Summer Shade, Lisa Mae Denton of Tompkinsville, Michelle Reid and her husband Steven of Tompkinsville; two brothers, Vernal Geralds and wife Lisa, and William “Bozo” Geralds and his wife Christy; two sisters, Donna Copas and her husband “Tubby,” and Tammy Stephens and her husband Jeff; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren also survive. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ivis Dean Curtis, the father of her children; Thomas William Vickery, two daughters, Peggy Lee Vickery, and Crystal Gail Vickery; two sisters, Carol Dean Geralds, and Betty Lee Geralds.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow in Missionary Mound Cemetery in Metcalfe County.  Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday morning after 7:00 until time for services at 1:00 p.m.

Pallbearers: Trevor, Bryce, Aaron, and Preston Vickery, Coy, Shelby, and Hunter Denton and Jimmy Proffitt.

Honorary Pallbearers: Joey Smith, Gary Strode, J W Vickery, and Dillion Vickery.
